Great wedding photography begins long before the camera is raised. It begins with understanding the environment, the people at the center of the celebration, and the rhythm that allows moments to unfold naturally.
Throughout the planning process, I work closely with couples and their creative teams to ensure the day is structured in a way that allows space for genuine moments while still maintaining a refined visual aesthetic. On the wedding day itself, my role is both attentive and unobtrusive—guiding when needed and observing when moments speak for themselves. This balance allows every image to feel both polished and authentic.
The Person Behind The Camera
I’ve always been drawn to environments where design, emotion, and human connection intersect. Weddings bring these elements together in a way that is both meaningful and visually compelling.
Outside of photography, I find inspiration in music and the arts. As a musician, husband, and father, I’m deeply aware of how emotion and connection shape the moments that matter most. I’m also inspired by architecture, travel, and classic film photography—studying the way light and structure influence how we experience a space. These influences naturally inform how I approach each celebration, creating imagery that feels elegant, balanced, and timeless.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of documenting celebrations at many of Chicago’s most iconic venues, working alongside exceptional planners and creative teams. Each wedding brings its own atmosphere, energy, and story, and my focus remains the same for every couple: thoughtful preparation, careful attention to detail, and a commitment to creating images that stand the test of time.
