LOVE coming back to the amazing Armour House, but this time it was the first time for a Winter wedding with Julie and Dan. It was a perfect day in February, and the nature set the stage for a perfect, winter themed wedding! And what a better place than a stunning gardens and grounds of the Armour House in Lake Forest! One of the premier North Shore venues to say the least!
Getting Ready
We started of at the Hilton Inn with Julie’s getting ready photos, at the hotel near by the venue! Julie, prefers lighter, more elegant, and classic vibe and style to her photographs. Her wedding party as well as her parents were there to help keep us on time, and keep ALL the moving parts in place. The timeline of the wedding day was executed perfectly! With Dan, I took a liberty to go a bit more dramatic look. After the first look on the Iconic stairs of the this amazing wedding venue, we proceeded outside for the first look, and some winter photos with entire wedding party!
Their ceremony was help inside of the main hall where Julie came down the stunning grand stair case, escorted by her father before they both said official I DO! Right after the ceremony we quickly ran out for some nightime, and blue hour photography, which if you know me is one of my favorite things to do! The lighting is just perfect, and it gives wedding photographs a very special, and artistic look, perfect to create stunning heirlooms and wall art!
To call the evening off, Julie and Dan decided to do a sparkler send off, which is always so much fun, and we love capturing those last minutes of the day, before you set off for your Honey Moon!
