Yahaira and Ashton met in 2015 after they moved to the city of Chicago almost at the same time. They met over the dating app and started dating in 2015. In 2016 Yahaira and Ashton took a trip to New York and after a sightseeing of an amazing city, Ashton proposed to Yahaira on the top floor of the Empire State Building.
Their wedding day started off at the Hilton Chicago/Magnificent Mile, where Yahaira was getting ready along with her daughter and a close family members. It was an amazing room filled with natural light and overlooking the downtown of Chicago and Lake Michigan. After couple of hours we headed of to amazing Artifact Events for the ceremony and reception.
The reception was absolutely fabulous with black and cold colors. Yahaira and Ashton made sure to incorporate Puerto Rican culture for Yahaira and Ashton’s New Orleans culture throughout the celebration. They had a Puerto Rican band named Bomba Con Buya that performed a traditional style of music called Bomba- percussion based music, usually played with two or more drums that’s a mixture of African, Spanish, and Taino cultures from the island.
Their night was concluded with a grand exit along with Brass band. I never felt so much energy at the very end of the wedding reception. It was absolutely breathtaking and refreshing.
