When you are a Chicago wedding photographer, you end up firing up on all cylinders during the wedding season as it tends to be very short in the city of Chicago. That means you will start falling behind on some other things like blogging, marketing etc. Basically we have to squeeze 12 months worth of work in maybe 5. That’s why in the middle of the coldest December in a while, I decided to post a blog from the session with Mandy and Bryan, which by the way was a summer engagement photo session.
Mandy and Bryan are an amazing couple who reached out to me back in September of 2015 asking to photograph their wedding in Westfield Wisconsin in 2017. Nothing wrong with securing your vendors very early as we do get booked far in advance. Their wedding will be on their family farm in Westfield Wisconsin which I am extremely excited about. For their engagement session we picked a Lincoln Park and area around the ZOO. We wanted to have a nature looking feel so we can keep similar theme to their wedding, but also be able to get some architectural and skyline shots at night. In the end we got a nice collection of photographs that Mandy and Bryan will have forever.
