Galleria Marchetti Wedding with Sarah and Chris
Sarah and Chris got married on December 1st, 2018 at the amazing Galleria Marchetti in Chicago. I met Sarah and Chris way before they even got engaged, while I was taking photos of Sarah’s family few years back. I knew they were dating so I said, hey guys, let’s get quick photo of just the two of you. The rest is History. After they got engaged, Sarah reached out and asked if I would photograph their wedding. It’s probably the most honorable thing you can do for someone, is capture every moment and detail of their day. Throughout the planning process, we got their engagement photos, and through mutual friends, I would hear more and more details about their day. I knew it would be spectacular one in every aspect.
We started off the day at the Hotel Palomar, with Sarah and girls getting ready in one room, and the boy being just one floor down. It was a rainy day, but it never was a concern in any way, as I knew I had plenty of locations to shoot at. Hotel Palomar look absolutely amazing inside, as I knew from the previous weddings. After we got majority of the photographs there, we made a stop to the Chicago Cultural Center, to try and get few more photos of just the two of them. Security would not let me in, but we were persistant, and they had no choice but to say to go ahead but be mindful of other, which of course we were.
We ended the day with a quick session of them opening the champaign in the Courtyard of Galleria Marchetti, and had a blast. I also surprised Sarah and Chris with same day prints placed in a beautiful Sue Bryce box for an amazing presentation. I hope you like the photos below.
